GM accelerates the development of next-generation Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra models
Since already we have had the opportunity to hear rumors that General Motors worried about the 2015 Ford F-150, it appears that this rival forced GM to go into the development of next-generation Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra models. Introducing the redesigned truck was moved to autumn 2018. If this is the truth, the current generation of models will have a relatively short lifespan of only about five years. Little is known about these trucks but they will be developed under the code name T1XX. Trucks could have a turbocharged engine with a smaller displacement and start / stop technology, but nothing has been officially announced yet.
